Who Should
Attend?
The “Art & Natural Health” International Conference is ideal
for people working or interested in: education, psychotherapy
& psychology, art education, philosophy, sociology and
cultural study, special education and work with the disabled,
correctional facilities, physical fitness and more.
Invitation to
Present:
Please send an abstract and the proposed workshop topic
(minimum 500 words) to ccata2005@hotmail.com, no later than
July 15, 2005.
Conference Fees:
1. Chinese National: 400RMB (Does not include food or hotel)
2. International Guests: US$ 180 (Includes food/hotel)
Note: There is a registration fee of 150RMB/person per
workshop to attend individual workshops. Each workshop lasts 3
hours.
Meal Fees:
1. 3 meals plus healthy fruit snacks are provided each day.
(Meal fees are an additional 50RMB (US$7) per day for Chinese
registrants.)
2. Please indicate special meal requests: no pork____, fish
only ____ vegetarian____.
Scheduled Artistic Presentations at the Conference:
• Beijing Shadow Puppet Show: a traditional art form
originally used to promote Daoist teachings.
• DADance Group: post-post modern dance -- “Water & Human”
• God-Gifted Art Group: the learning-disabled students of
God-Gifted Garden perform “Imagination of the Hands”
• Charity Art show & Exhibition: contemporary Chinese artists

Registration of the professionals:
the registration of
the presenters will on 25 Aug, we will have a presenters
gathering meeting in the evening.
Additional Activities: We will be happy to arrange
contact with a travel agency for those who wish to extend
their stay in China with a trip to Xi’an, an ancient city,
famous for the Terracotta Soldiers. Please indicate interest
when you RSVP.
Traveling to China:
Visas: Guests from outside of China will probably need a
tourist (L) visa. Consult your local Chinese embassy or
consulate for more information.
Airline Tickets: Consult your local Chinatown international
travel agents, the Internet, and travel books to China for
best rates.
Preparation: Consult travel books such as Lonely Planet
Beijing and Let’s Go China on how to prepare.
